Hi Everyone, a Special and big THANKYOU to all who have commented on my blog page and have offered advice on how to drive more traffic to it. After all that is the one thing we all need to make our businesses grow. I will be checking them all out!
You may have noticed that it has been quite a while since I posted anything. Though it may seem so, I haven’t been having a break from my business. I cannot afford it quite yet. Plus Christmas is just round the corner and a £10 gift and some sweets is no longer sufficient for the kids.
Anyway, I have been learning a lot about MLM and promoting my business via other means. Visit my facebook page at www.facebook.com/urpossibilities.
Despite the fact that I know that I jumped in at the deep end, I would not swap it for anything else. I am loving it! The news that I am really excited about is that I am one of the first people to rank in my Opportunity which also makes me one of the selected few invited on a weekend retreat to a 5star hotel in London this coming weekend. How’s that for a newbie?
What I have learnt in the past few months? Well that Network Marketing = Relationship Marketing. The $$$ and £££ signs have disappeared. They would only come as a result of me helping others. That’s fine because I just love helping people. I have also learned that Knowledge =Power. BUT, Knowledge without Action leads to Failure!
There are also two types of network marketers who have their own strong views on the best way to approach the business.
OLD SCHOOL : Create a list of everyone you know, family, friends, relatives, butcher etc Contact them, tell them what you are doing. Organise presentations where you introduce the opportunity and hope some will support you by buying the product or join your business.
NEW NETWORKERS: Internet Marketers who go outside their ‘warm market’(people they know) and place themselves on a world stage.
Let me say at this stage, that I personally have no preference as long as the desired results are achieved. However if you are somewhat technically challenged(with computers) then the second option may seem a challenge. I have not ruled anything out. So I press on.
